NEWS: Art Exhibition October 2008
Kellie exhibited 24 works at a solo show in North Sydney over the long weekend from October 3rd to October 6th, 2008. The show was a huge success, 70 people attended opening night on the Friday and two thirds of the paintings sold in the first hour! There was a rush of red dots going up on the wall as paintings were snapped up by enthusiastic supporters. The nibbles and wine flowed freely and overall the night was great fun. To anyone who missed out on the painting they liked Kellie will be producing more work soon so please keep your eye on this website.

Artist and wild dog painting
The artist, and the star of the show which turned out to
be her painting of an African Wild Dog.

There were some archive quality canvas reproductions prepared as part of the fundraiser for African Wild Dog Conservation, which sold well over the weekend. Due to high demand there will soon be canvas prints of the elephant painting available too. If you'd like a print please see the links under "paintings for sale" above for more details.

A proportion of proceeds from both painting and print sales (20% from paintings and 50% from prints) will be sent to AWDC to help initiate the working dog detection project. This project will train up domestic dogs to sniff out illegal poachers snares so they can be removed and help protect the African wild dogs from this major threat.

To all those who attended the exhibition, thank you for your interest and support!
